Vehicles needed for Artillery Relocation Training Program 12-3 are off-loaded here Nov. 7. The equipment was transported from Camp Hansen, Okinawa, to Camp Fuji, Japan. The Marines and sailors taking part in ARTP 12-3 are with Mike Battery, 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. This exercise is part of regularly-scheduled, routine training that promotes regional stability and security by allowing units stationed on Okinawa to improve their ability to support III MEF's role in the defense of Japan under the Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security.
