CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (January 21, 2023) Machinist’s Mate 2nd Class Jeremy Earl, assigned to the Maritime Security Squadron 8, performs engineering and rear look out watch during a training underway in the Gulf of Tadjoura, Jan. 21. The Maritime Expeditionary Security Force is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security in the coastal and inland waterways. Camp Lemonnier serves as an expeditionary base for U.S. military forces providing, support to ships, aircraft, and personnel that ensure security throughout Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
