U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 302nd Airlift Wing along with the 146th Airlift Wing and Cal Fire crew members, under the direction of the U.S. Forest Service, prepare to re-load a Modular Airborne Firefighting System (MAFFS) on a C-130 with water for qualification training. This is the 50th year that the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserves have partnered with the USFS to use planes loaded with the MAFFS unit for wildland fire prevention.
