Command Sgt. Maj. Jacinto Garza, senior enlisted leader of U.S. Army Central and Sgt. 1st Class David Schwigen participate in a 8-mile ruck march with the U.S. Army Central’s Best Squad competitors on Day 5 of the U.S. Army Central’s Best Squad Competition, at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, May 11, 2023. USARCENT hosted squads from across the USARCENT area of responsibility in this year’s competition. The five-day competition is designed to test squads on their Soldier common tasks and battle drills, by placing them in realistic and challenging team.
