CAMP LEMONNIER, Djibouti (May 5, 2023)— Members of Camp Lemonnier Fire and Emergency Medical Services, participate in a training exercise at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, May 5. The exercise simulated a large-scale earthquake, in which buildings collapsed and fuel spilled. Participants practiced techniques, coordinated with other entities, and tested procedures and training. CLDJ is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
