    U.S. Army National Guardsman Sgt. 1st Class Luke Simon, a Buffalo, N.Y., native, and a cavalry scout of B. Troop, 2d Squadron, 101st Cavalry Regiment, Jamestown, N.Y., leads a team of soldiers from B. Troop, along with first responders through an apartment complex in New York City Nov. 9, 2012. Collaborative teams went throughout the complex knocking on residents homes offering food, water and medical attention if needed.
