U.S. Marines assigned to Marine Wing Support Squadron 273, Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina perform specialized fueling operations with a C-130 Hercules and Airmen from the 165th Airlift Wing, Georgia Air National Guard, during exercise AGILE X at North Auxiliary Field, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina May 9, 2023. During the exercise, Airmen and Marines will collaborate on agile combat employment tactics and multi-capable skills to create precision and cohesion between the military branches in preparation for AIR DEFENDER 2023 (AD 23). Exercise AD23 will be conducted as a multinational high-value exercise during the core exercise period June 12-23, 2023. Led by the German Air Force, air defense operations with a broad range of capabilities will be exercised with the participation of numerous North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) air forces.
