The USAG Fort Hamilton community held their annual Army Emergency Relief (AER) fundraising event in the garrison commissary parking lot, on May 16th, 2023.
The AER fund provides interest-free loans and grants to active-duty and retired U.S. Army soldiers and their eligible family members who are experiencing financial difficulties. AER is a private nonprofit organization that was established in 1942 to help soldiers and their dependents in times of financial hardship.
