U.S. Marines from 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, are awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for being the top crew at the 2023 Bushmaster Challenge on Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, May 12, 2023. The purpose of the competition was to evaluate the Marines’ tactical and technical expertise and identify the best LAV-25 Light Armored Vehicle crew from 1st, 2nd, and 4th Marine Division.
