U.S. Marine Corps light armored vehicles (LAV) assigned to 3rd and 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division, are staged during the 2023 Bushmaster Challenge at Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, May 9, 2023. The purpose of the challenge was to evaluate the Marines’ tactical and technical expertise and identify the best LAV-25 crew from 1st, 2nd and 4th Marine Division.
