Utilities Man 1st Class Bruce Nisbet, assigned to Navy Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 23, embarked aboard High Speed Vessel (HSV 2) Swift, hammers a nail into a board that will be used to construct pre-fabricated floors and walls, as engineers from the Peruvian Navy observe. The two Navies are working together at the Callao Naval base, to build floors and walls that will be used at a school in Zona De Acapulco and Ancon, as part of Southern Partnership Station (SPS 12) 2012. The Seabees and engineers will spend three weeks refurbishing two schools in the area. HSV-SPS 12 is an annual deployment of U.S. Navy ships and assets to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility in the Caribbean, Central and South America. The exercise involves information sharing with Navies, Coast Guards and civilian services throughout the region.
