Army recruits gather around a few soldiers to ask questions and hear advice on making it through basic training at Washington Square before the Louisiana Bicentennial Military Parade, Nov. 10. The event honored Louisiana men and women from all branches of the military and included a mass enlistment ceremony of 180 new recruits into the U.S. armed forces.
