U.S. Army 1st Lt. Joshua Wheeler, assigned to U.S. Army Central G6 Forward, leads cyber defense training, at ARCENT University, on Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, May 23, 2023. This bilateral cyber defense training, the first of its kind, will culminate in an incident response exercise with the Kuwait Cyber Operations Directorate and Armed Forces and U.S. Army Soldiers. Training is geared toward cyber awareness, cyber defense, change management, military decision-making process, and phases of incident response. With an increasing demand for the internet and rapid technology development, cyber defense is crucial to achieve mission tasks and objectives in the USARCENT Area of Responsibility and ensures a mutually beneficial partnership with the Kuwait Armed Forces.
