U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Burns plays the trumpet alongside guest artist Doc Severinsen at the East Tennessee Jazz Festival in Johnson City, Tenn., March 2006. Burns’ years with The U.S. Air Force Band have allowed him to play with many musicians who inspired him early in his career, including Severinsen.
