Jason Hollan, an instructor assigned to 7th Intermediate Level Education Detachment, 7th Mission Support Command, U.S. Army Reserve, discusses planning during partner nation academics as part of African Lion 2023, in Agadir, Morocco May 24, 2023. 44 instructors from across the U.S. joint force, Italy, Morocco and the United Kingdom and were joined by 123 students from 8 nations to conduct academic instruction on military planning processes. 18 nations and approximately 8,000 personnel will participate in African Lion 2023, U.S. Africa Command's largest annual combined, joint exercise that will take place in Ghana, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia from May 13-June 18, 2023.
