Staff Sgt. Shannon Richards 136th Airlift Wing Aerospace Medical Tech prepares emergency care for medical mannikin at US Army Installation Schofield Barracks, May 18, 2023. Over ten participants from medics to providers were put to the test for half day of classroom review followed by an interactive simulation with six medical grade manikins. This training included providing emergency medical attention, practicing carrying and transporting the patients, as well as the possibility of navigating care during poignant smells, flashing lights, fog, and fake blood in the facility's “blood room”.
