Lt. Col. Ryan Pevey, Honolulu District commander, and the emergency management team review the final deployment strategy for support personnel being deployed May 29 at the Emergency Operations Center located on Fort Shafter, Hawaii. The US Army Corps of Engineers is working in partnership with the local and federal partners in response to Typhoon Mawar. USACE has received FEMA mission assignments for Regional Activation, Temporary Emergency Power, Temporary Roofing Planning, and Debris Management support.
