DINOZE', FRANCE (May 28, 2023) – U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Edward L. Vaughan, the U.S. European Command strategy, plans and capabilities deputy director, gives a speech at the Memorial Day ceremony at Epinal American Cemetary in Dinoze', France, May 28, 2023. His remarks honored the heroism and sacrifice of the American men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to maintain a Europe that is whole, prosperous, and at peace. Approximately 500 ceremony attendees included service members, a French military honor guard and band, local civic leaders, cadets from the French Navy, Army, firefighters and civil defense, and members of the public.
