Laurence “Sparky” Rector, a World War II veteran of the Oklahoma National Guard's 45th Infantry Division, inspects an engraved box sent to him by the 45th Infantry Brigade and presentd by by ROTC cadet Avery Mack on his 100th birthday in Mexico, N.Y., May 27.
