SEA OF JAPAN (May 09, 2023) – An EA-18G Growler assigned to the “Ravens” of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 135, below, and an EP-3E Aries II assigned to Maritime Surveillance (VQ) 81 of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), above, conduct bi-lateral exercises in the Sea of Japan. VAQ-135 is assigned to Commander, Task Force 70 forward-deployed to the U. S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific (U.S. Navy photo courtesy of VAQ-135).
