Chief Warrant Officer 2 Kristine Macaraeg is greeted by her division after a promotion ceremony on the flight deck of U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stratton (WMSL 752) in the South China Sea May 31, 2023. Macaraeg, a native Filipina, promoted from the enlisted rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer the day before Stratton pulled in to the Philippines.
