Lt. Col. Jason Brown presents a miniature cannon as a token of appreciation to Kozo Sato, the director of the Onshirin Regional Public Organization, Nov. 9. During a meeting, Brown discussed training details and his intent for Artillery Relocation Training Program 12-3 with Sato prior to the commencement of live-fire training. The organization manages the rights of land at the base of the northern part of Mount Fuji. Brown is the commanding officer of 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
