Team Bliss Soldiers joined veterans and families for the Memorial Day service at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, Texas, May 29, 2023. "I believe those fallen would want us to enjoy this time with our families,” said Col. Matthew Adamczyk, the commander of the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division; and the ceremony’s key speaker. “They’d want us to celebrate our good country and the right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness — their sacrifice secure. For them — enjoy the day, but let us never forget."
