SAINT INIGOES, Maryland (May 16, 2023) – District Fire Chief Clifford Montgomery III, Naval District Washington Fire Department - NAS Patuxent River, center, addresses firefighters and EMTs of the Naval District Washington and Ridge Volunteer Fire Departments during a hot wash of an aircraft mishap drill at Pax River’s Webster Outlying Field May 16. The drill utilized a Mobile Aircraft Firefighting Trainer to simulate a burning aircraft, and incorporated other emergency responders from the Ridge Volunteer Fire Department and Maryland State Police to replicate a realistic response to such an emergency.
