At the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Polk, Louisiana government-owned goats, donkeys, and chickens enhance the realism for rotational units at the combat training center. Our veterinarians ensure the animals are vaccinated, treated for a variety of medical conditions, and are housed in a suitable manner.
