PHILIPPINE SEA (May 4, 2023) – Sailors aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) communicate with the pilot of an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter assigned to the “Golden Falcons” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12 in launching from Blue Ridge’s flight deck, May 4, 2023. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
