Jason Balazs, certified registered nurse anesthetist, on the process improvement project “Planning for Manning,” which hospital corpsmen assigned to Directorate Surgical Services Anesthesia department initiated to mitigate a staff shortage concern. The project was recognized with the 2023 Rear Adm. Lewis E.
