Soldiers from I Company, 145th Forward Support Battalion, were hard at work this drill at Fort Harrison learning the ins-and-outs of various weapon systems. Tasks include assembly, disassembly, and implementation for participation in an upcoming Expert Soldier Badge (ESB) qualification event. This event will be hosted alongside the Expert Infantry Badge (EIB) qualification with the support of Montana’s 163rd Combined Arms Battalion.
The ESB is a special skills badge of the United States Army. It is similar in appearance to the Combat Action Badge. The ESB is awarded to Soldiers who have completed testing and do not serve in the Infantry, Special Forces, or Medical Branches.
