Mark Delapaz, the battalion executive officer, await the beginning of a military oath ceremony June 3 in Lwowek Slaski, Poland, for approximately 60 new Polish soldiers who recently completed basic training with the Polish Army’s 23rd Field Artillery Regiment. The 4th Inf. Div.'s mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America’s forward deployed corps in Europe.
