The mission of the MWD Program is to be the frontline of defense for force protection efforts and provide competent MWD support, in order to detect, deter, and detain threats to U.S. and partner forces, throughout the Horn of Africa. CLDJ is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
