U.S. Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (26th MEU) conduct a search and rescue to locate casualties in a scenario during a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) hazard course in Perry, Georgia, May 18, 2023. During this course, the Marines have conducted scenario-based training including wide area search, radiation dose sampling, chemical sampling, site characterization and tactical casualty response and recovery drills in order to enhance the 26th MEU’s operational capability prior to deployment.
