The pilot of a U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 268 throws up a friendly peace sign. The Osprey landed for the weekend on Ford Island, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), Hawaii, Jun. 2, 2023. VMM-268 participated in the JBPHH Summer Expo and Showcase held on June 3 and 4 to showcase the Osprey as one of many static displays represented by the various branches of service. Among the static displays were military vehicles, aircraft and gear that service members use on a day-to-day basis. The event presented an opportunity to highlight the many varied organizations on JBPHH and display their mission’s dedication to readiness and response abilities for regional stability.
