On May 1, 2023, a Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force Drug Demand Reduction Outreach Task Force Member (TFM) gave a presentation at the ESC 18 to Child Protective Services staff, child placing agencies, CASA, judges, school counselors and foster care liaisons at the Midland, Texas. The TFM presented the Dead-on Arrival curriculum, provided resources on how to monitor snapchat, and provided the Substance Use Prevention Communications Toolkit. This presentation will assist those that work with the high-risk youth and provide them with a curriculum that assists with the youth’s educational needs and challenges of being in foster care.
