A United Kingdom media member captures footage from a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft assigned to the 100th Air Refueling Wing during a mission in support of Arctic Challenge Exercise 2023 while flying over Sweden, June 6, 2023. Local and international media were invited to RAF Mildenhall to fly on a KC-135 air refueling mission in support of ACE23. Flag-level training in U.S European Command’s area of responsibility creates a significant measure of autonomy for European partners and U.S. forces to exercise high-intensity and global peer competitor combat scenarios.
