CARLISLE BARRACKS, Pa. – Chief of Defense of the Republic of Lithuania Lt. Gen. Valdemaras Rupšys became the 80th international military officer inducted into the U.S. Army War College International Fellows Hall of Fame during a ceremony June 5 attended by members of his family, representative from the War College and the Pennsylvania National Guard. The event coincides with the PA National Guard’s celebration of its 30-year military-to-military partnership with the Lithuanian Armed Forces as part of the Department of Defense’s State Partnership Program, making it one of the original partnerships in the program.
