Columbia College of Missouri staff, students and service members from Hancock Field Air National Guard Base in Syracuse, N.Y., were on hand, Nov. 9, 2012, for the ceremony for the cell phones for soldiers initiative. The Hancock Field Columbia College Campus collected 424 cell phones during the drive. The phones where presented to David Foster, program manager for the Cell Phones for Soldiers. This will yield approximately 1,060 hours of talk time for troops on the ground in the Middle East, allowing them to connect with their families. (New York Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
