New York, N.Y. – Soldiers with the 353rd Civil Affairs Command assist Metropolitan Art Museum staff in transporting “Monuments Men” Cpt. Edith Standen’s WWII Summer uniform during historical preservation training at The MET here on June 3, 2023. The training allowed civil affairs soldiers to expand their knowledge base on protecting historical property, property control techniques, and synchronizing civil affairs forces with non-governmental entities.
