Mr. Jonathan Butt, operations chief, with Training Support Center 29, TECOM Forward, provides support during a command post exercise in preparation for the service level training exercise, Integrated Training Exercise 4-23 at Marine Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA, June 8, 2023. ITX is a live-fire and maneuver combined arms exercise designed to train battalion and squadron-sized units in tactics, techniques, and procedures. The exercise also acts as a mass mobilization rehearsal for the Reserve units and enhances the total Reserve force readiness to rapidly deploy when called. This provides a sustainable and ready operational Reserve force for employment across the full spectrum of crisis and global management. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Capt. Mark Andries)
