U.S. Army Lt. Col. Mary Durham (left), commander of the 773rd Civil Support Team, 7th Mission Support Command based in Kaiserslautern, Germany, briefs U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Patrick C. Thibodeau, deputy commanding general of U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), and Tunisian Armed Forces members during African Lion 23 at Bizerte, Tunisia on May 28,2023. The 773rd CST and Tunisian Armed Forces conducted realistic, dynamic and collaborative readiness training to strengthen the partnership between the two nations. Eighteen nations and approximately 8,000 personnel will participate in African Lion 2023, U.S. Africa Command's largest annual combined, joint exercise that will take place in Ghana, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia from May 13-June 18, 2023.
