An MV-22 Osprey assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit lands in a landing zone while conducting an amphibious assault raid during Composite Training Unit Exercise (C2X) at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, June 2, 2023. The amphibious assault rehearsed the utilization of Marines to move from ship to shore and secure objectives for follow-on actions. Expeditionary Operations Training Group organized C2X as the last exercise in the pre-deployment training program for the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
