Norfolk, Va. (June 9, 2023) Machinist Mate Third Class (SU) Josiah Reeves, assigned to the Pre-Commissioning Massachusetts (SSN 798) is promoted to Machinist Mate Second Class aboard the decommissioned Iowa-class battleship USS Wisconsin (BB 64). The brief ceremony was attended by members of his family and division. CDR Michael Siedsma, USN, Commanding Officer of the PCU Massachusetts, served as the promoting officer. The ceremony was hosted and coordinated by the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, which is one of ten U.S. Navy Museums reporting to the Naval History and Heritage Command.
