U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned 169th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron as weapons loaders, complete an operational check of equipment during the PALMETTO PRESSURE exercise at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, June 1, 2023. The 169th Fighter Wing is participating in Exercise PALMETTO PRESSURE, an innovative Phase One type exercise designed to test the wing’s ability to execute their primary mission without months of notice, planning and preparation. The exercise scenario consists of generating combat airpower for a downrange contingency while simultaneously supporting a homeland defense mission.
