Kenneth Watson, deputy commander of the Central Ohio-based Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, and DLA Vice Director Brad Bunn present Matthew Byus with a framed replica of the plaque unveiled June 8 honoring his brother Stephen’s service to the country. Stephen Byus was a supply specialist with DLA Land and Maritime assigned to the Combined Security Transition Command Afghanistan as a member of DLA’s civilian deployer contingent. He died Sept. 16, 2014, in Kabul, Afghanistan, from injuries sustained in a suicide bombing.
