Alexey Audeev, Deputy Director of International Cooperation Department EMERCOM of Moscow, Russia, tours FEMA's DR-4085 Joint Field Office (JFO) in Queens, New York. Following the onslaught of Hurricane Sandy, FEMA coordinated its work in New York at the JFO in Queens and supported state, local, tribal and volunteer agencies in their disaster response activities. FEMA welcomes the cooperation and assistance of international experts such as the Russian Airmobile Rescue Service who are familiar with disaster response techniques needed to assist communities in need of relief.
