U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Tyler Joles, left, and U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Jake Hughes, explosive ordnance disposal technicians, search for simulated ordnance along the shoreline to create a safe passageway for follow-on forces to conduct ship-to-shore operations as part of exercise Baltic Operations 2023 (BALTOPS 23). BALTOPS 23 is the premier maritime-focused exercise in the Baltic region.
