U.S. Army Capt. (Dr.) Michael ‘Jeremy’ Lawson, Family Medicine resident at Womack Army Medical Center participates in the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Capstone Event exercise, June 9. Lawson practiced using the Lateral Canthotomy and Cantholysis on a simulation based-medical mannikin. This four-day exercise provides graduating residents with valuable hands-on experience in a field setting preparing them to perform medical missions in a deployed environment.
