The 307th Forward Resuscitative and Surgical Detachment (FRSD), a U.S. Army Reserve unit out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, prepare their medical equipment in Ben Guerir, Morocco June 8, 2023 during exercise African Lion 2023 (AL23). The 307th FRSD is staged to provide emergency medical care and stabilize patients for follow-on treatment during AL23, should the need arise. Eighteen nations and approximately 8,000 personnel will participate in AL23, U.S. Africa Command's largest annual combined, joint exercise that will take place in Ghana, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia from May 13 – June 18, 2023.
