The 1st Squadron, 3d Cavalry Regiment and five other units from throughout the Department of Defense compete for the coveted Phoenix Award, Nov. 15, at the 2012 Secretary of Defense Maintenance Awards Banquet, Nov. 15, at DeVos Place Convention Center, Grand Rapids, Mich.
