U.S. Marines with Hotel Battery, 2nd Battalion, 10th Marines, 2d Marine Division, execute a HIMARS Rapid Insertion (HIRAIN), as part of BALTOPS 23, in Gdansk, Poland, June 14th, 2023. HIRAIN operations provide lethal and accurate fire to targets all across the globe. BALTOPS is an annual joint, multinational maritime-focused exercised. It is designed to improve training for participants, enhance flexibility and interoperability and demonstrate resolve among allied and partner forces in defending the Baltic Sea region.
