    31st Marine Expeditionary Unit       

    A U.S. Marine with the maritime raid force, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, rappels from a CH-53E Super Stallion during fast rope training aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA-6), in the Pacific Ocean, June 13, 2023. MRF Marines conducted fast rope training to rehearse insertion methods and close quarters tactics for boarding and securing maritime vessels.
